Samsung’s upcoming One UI 9.5 has been leaked, showing significant visual changes to the Galaxy interface. The first screenshots of the software, run by Fahad Ali Javed on a Galaxy S26 series phone, reveal a new look for floating menus.

According to the report, Samsung is introducing subtle backdrop shading and bright edges to the interface, making it more distinct from previous versions.

Design Changes

The new design features a more polished look, with floating tabs and menus having a more pronounced appearance due to the added shadows. Samsung is also using glass-like surfaces and bright lines on the edges of some interface components.

The company is revamping the look of its floating elements, which were first introduced in One UI 9. The new design includes changes to the Now Brief, Wi-Fi sharing screen, and system sound slider.

The search function in the Dialer app has also been updated, with a new design that includes subtle backdrop shading across home screen widgets, bottom navigation bars, and top header action buttons.

New Features

Samsung is working on a new search feature for the Phone app, which will allow users to search for contacts, recent interactions, and related actions. This feature is similar to the Finder function and will expand the scope of the classic contact search in the Phone app.

The company is also changing the location of the search button in the Phone app, moving it from the top right corner to the floating tab bar at the bottom of the screen. This change will reduce the amount of finger movement required to access the search button, especially on larger Galaxy models.

The leaked screenshots show that the search area and the bottom tab bar have been redesigned with the same visual understanding.

Release Date

Samsung has not officially announced the release date for One UI 9.5. However, previous test software records have linked the name One UI 9.5 to the Galaxy S27 Ultra. According to SamMobile, Samsung may release the update in early 2027 with the Galaxy S27 series and then roll it out to supported older Galaxy models.

As Samsung continues to distribute One UI 9, the company is also working on developing One UI 9.5.

Şirket One UI 9.5 sürümünü henüz resmi dağıtıma çıkarmadığı için geliştirme sürecinde bazı ayrıntılar değişebilir.
